Penelope is absolutely lovely- certainly not at all over-used round here - London suburbs. Has great nicknames too - Penny/Pen/Nell.

I don't like Martha or Annie I'm afraid - and they're a lot more popular among the under-5s in this area.

Annie, followed by Martha.

Prefer Martha or Penelope, although Annie is OK.

Martha is very popular at the moment, if that influences your choice.

Penelope is lovely. Annie is OK, but Anne or Anna might be better as a given name. Anne is very underused but is a lovely name.

Last two babies in my circle of acquaintances were both called Martha

Martha gets my vote, unless your accent means it would be Marfa (like mine) then it's a no from me.
