What do you all think? I'm only 8 weeks but think I love this name.

Anouk and cranny Hmm

I prefer Anoushka with Anouk as a nn

Google tells me the lost boys dog was called Nanook so you were very close. Thanks for all the replies. It's mainly confirmed my love for the name. I do worry that in an English accent it doesn't sound as nice, and also that it wouldn't go with our very sturdy surname. But I guess I have a while to think about it.

Utterly love wish we had thought of it for dd1 her name is too similar to use it!

FatWalda · 18/05/2015 11:45

I've always thought this a very peculiar name, and it reminds me of Anorak. Sorry.

VT82 · 18/05/2015 12:13

Reminds me of evil Imhotep's wife from the Mummy films - Anck (pr Anuk) Su Namun

I like it!

OrionsAccessory · 18/05/2015 12:18

I love it.

holmessweetholmes · 18/05/2015 12:20

Lovely!

TakeMeUpNorthMountain · 18/05/2015 12:21

Love it. Wish we'd had to courage to use it. Super cute.

fourchetteoff · 18/05/2015 12:22

Love it.

But it's one of those names that is so firmly 'forrin' I would at least expect there to be some history of Frenchness (or Dutchness!) in the family to use it.

ch1134 · 18/05/2015 21:07

Love it. And I know an absolutely gorgeous teenage Anouk.

dependentspouse · 18/05/2015 21:14

Love it - I know a beautiful little girl with nn 'nuki.'

Perfectly normal name in my opinion.
