Same names dilemma... or am I overthinking?

We have a baby girl due in a few weeks. DH and I currently only have one girl's name that we both agree on. This is the same name as my brother's and SiL's niece (so, SiL's family rather than mine). We don't live near any of them and only see DB/SiL a few times a year so probably not an issue by itself by I also have the exactly the same name as my SiL's SiL (her brother's wife), first and last. So for my brother and wife they'd have four of us with the same name and that kind of niggles me.

Am I being weird for thinking it's weird or would it be weird? Is it just going to be a thing for them for 5 minutes but then nobody will think anything of it afterwards?

Do I need to get a grip, or a new name for the baby?!

Confused Grin

I think that's distant enough to not be weird, provided that it's not a really unusual name.

But if it's niggling you, leave it on the list but keep going for more inspiration.

Depends. If it a reasonably common/popular name then fine. If it is something weird/unique/unusual then might be more of an issue.

You are over thinking - it's fine!

Thanks both Smile . It's not an unusual name... (quite the opposite judging by another thread I was reading yesterday!)

Good point AuntieStella about keeping going for more inspiration, makes sense! Smile
