I like unusual names (current favourites Odin and Minerva) where's the place place to look for similar names? A lot of baby naming websites just have popular names

Ha ha. Talk to my parents...

Sorry, not very helpful, try Ancient Greek or Medieval English.

mrscatmad31 · 15/04/2015 21:41

medieval English is a good suggestion (have been looking at roman emperors/Greek gods)

Taliesin, Nimue, that sort of thing?

Perhaps find what kind of name you like and research texts from that period.

Behind The Name is a good site. You can look at lists of names from all sorts of backgrounds, Biblical, Norse mythology, French, Ancient Greek, all sorts.

Thank you will take a look at that :-)

Look at harry potter names! :)
Girls: harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Females
Boys: harrypotter.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Males

All sort of unusual names along those lines :)
