Penelope/ penny
Love it but in tiny family it's been used and for reasons I can't go into definitely wouldn't be appropriate to use
(NB penny is a good person nothing sinister!!)

It depends on what it is you like about Penelope. The rhythm, the vowel sounds, the meaning, the origin, the short form etc. Anyway I'll just throw out a few, you won't like all of them if any, but it's a start.

Penelope must be racing up the name charts as i have just met one in rl and it is a name always mentioned on here, along with Violet. Both lovely names.

Henrietta has a similar feel to Penelope in my mind, and the nn Hettie is really sweet.

A few others; Vivienne, Cecelia, Felicity, Clementine, Lucinda, Danielle, Madeline, Paloma, Pollyanna

The Penny I know was close to being called Romy - I love that as well.
