Do you think it's a bit odd to call our baby Angus if we are not Scottish, or is it okay? What do you think of the name?

It makes me think of a posh Chelsea dwelling sort whose family has a Scottish title and an accompanying estate in the Highlands.

I LOVE Angus!
But the OH absolutely hates it
(I'm Scottish, he's English) - my family aren't too keen on it either but totally broke my heart when OH said a definite no!

My mother has told me that I am 1/8 scottish, so Angus is now top of the list.

I like Angus (and Fergus) but for me it would feel odd using it for a non Scottish child. So I have a Gus.
