I am really struggling. Feel like I could name another 5 girls easily! I'm finding boys names either a bit "nice but dull" or too out there.
Current contenders:

Jonty
Thomas
Charlie
Sam

I like Arlo... but someone was talking about a disney film with a dinosaur arlo being released later in the year?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated or opinions on the above..... Thanks!

I really like Jonty - couldn't persuade DH though!

Your others are nice but every class at school has lots of Charlie's and Sam's so they all have to use surnames. Not sure if that worries you though Smile

Arlo - just can't make my mind up on that one!

Like Jonty as a nn for Jonathan. Not too sure about it as a name in its own right.

You might also like:

Jago ("Jay - go")
Bruno
Monty
Angus/Magnus (nn Gus)

Sam is my favourite of your choices, a lovely friendly name.

Have you considered Peter?

MamaLazarou · 30/03/2015 20:25

How about Marlow? Or Otto, Otis, Keir or Lex.

I'm the opposite of you: I could name another 500 boys but would really struggle to name a girl!

Thomas is a lovely classic name yet weirdly not overused. It's my fave from your list

Agree with everything switch said.

Conrad

Not keen on Jonty at all, sorry. Thomas is my favourite, followed by Sam.

Mangobubbles · 31/03/2015 18:14

Love Jonty but DH has said no. There are loads of Sams, Toms and Charlies here they are lovely names though. Good luck with finding a name! We are struggling at 30 wks with probably DS3...

makesomenoise · 31/03/2015 20:09

Thank you all. There are loads of Toms Sams and Charlies it's just so tricky finding a boys name that is as nice but not as common..... mixed opinions on Jonty then... hmmm!! will keep thinking....

I LOVE Jonty short for Jonathan. DH vetoed it yesterday.Angry

deana4 · 01/04/2015 00:24

I love Thomas (my middles name)

Writerwannabe83 · 01/04/2015 08:52

I have an Arron. It's not overly popular but not weird either.

My friend has a boy called Thomas and it's a lovely name and not particularly common anymore either.
