Just that really....love the name but have track record of picking names that then become super popular!

1 - my niece - 20yrs old

silverfingersandtoes · 28/03/2015 11:50

DH wouldn't have either of our DDs called Tabitha because it's a cat's name. So I got a cat.

OddBoots · 28/03/2015 11:50

Only cats, I don't know any children with the name.

LittleBairn · 28/03/2015 12:51

I know one aged about 10. I know a lot of kids having been a nanny for years and it is not a name I would consider popular.

Guin1 · 28/03/2015 15:20

None (kids or cats). And haven't taught any, despite last nine years working in girls schools. But I'm in Australia, so maybe not v helpful! It was my second choice for DD, but vetoed by DH, along with my first choice Angry.

I know one that's in the 35-45 age group. Don't know her actual age.

ditavonteesed · 28/03/2015 15:27

only 1, the 11 year old sat on my sofa, in yorkshire.

ralinax294 · 28/03/2015 19:36

2, both teenagers.

callamia · 28/03/2015 19:41

Two, both are toddlers.

spiderlight · 28/03/2015 19:47

I know one, who's 7, known as Tabby and it suits her perfectly.

Toadsrevisited · 28/03/2015 19:54

Two. One in 40s and one teen. Great name.

Orangeisthenewbanana · 28/03/2015 19:55

None at all!

ScrambledEggAndToast · 28/03/2015 20:04

1 and she's early forties. I always think of it as something you would name a cat though.

madhairday · 28/03/2015 20:07

One 14 year old sitting next to me.

Fab name

pourmeanotherglass · 28/03/2015 20:08

One of DD's primary school friends, now in year 7, lovely girl, her friends shorten it to tabba.

LoveGigi · 28/03/2015 20:09

I have a Tabitha who is 6mo and I have since met two others, a 6 and 7yo. I love the name and it suits our DD perfectly. I have had not one ounce of uncertainty in naming her Tabitha. Although when I tell people her name I very very rarely get any comments a long the lines of "oh that's a nice name..." Most people say nothing. Occasionally someone gushes about how much they love the name too though which is nice.

Fishandjam · 28/03/2015 20:11

One - Mrs Tabitha Twitchett, Tom Kitten's mum.

Elfina · 28/03/2015 20:14

Mine! We're in London.

Floggingmolly · 28/03/2015 20:14

One, she's eight. Known as Tabby.

Ulysses · 28/03/2015 20:15

It's been used in our family for generations. My great gran, great aunt, aunt and her granddaughter are all called Tabitha. I'd love to have called my first it, but DH wasn't so keen. It is her middle name though. Haven't met any more.

Essexgirlupnorth · 28/03/2015 20:16

One she is 5ish

Marcipex · 28/03/2015 20:16

One in Devon, she must be about 40. No children, and I know a lot of children.
Very pretty name.

YvesJutteau · 28/03/2015 20:16

Three -- one aged 18, one aged 5, one aged 4.

MehsMum · 28/03/2015 20:17

One, East Anglia, early 20s, known as Tab.
Lovely girl. Lovely name, too.
