Overdue and still not agreed on a name

6 days late and we are still undecided on what to call this baby. We both really like Leighton/Layton (and it seems quite apt - late 'en!) but our surname is C romp ton? What are people's thoughts?
Also on the list we have:
Milo
Archie
Ellis
Frazer

Our other children are Scarlett and Flynn

I think Leighton/Layton is quite nice but I prefer all you others.

Love Milo and Ellis

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 20/03/2015 15:00

Hmm not too keen in Leighton /Layton tbh, esp with a surname ending in "ton".

I much prefer Ellis or Fraser (prefer S rather than z spelling) and think they go well with your other names too.

5YearsTime · 20/03/2015 15:04

Really not keen on Layton but Milo is lovely!

pinkie87 · 20/03/2015 16:00

I love Milo! DH won't let me have it though. :(

Falconwolf101 · 20/03/2015 18:07

I love Milo and Archie particularly XD

ButterflyOfFreedom · 20/03/2015 18:15

I think Leighton C rom pton is too much.

Ellis gets my vote.

Love Scarlett & Flynn too!

I think it's a bit rhymey too. Like Fraser best from your list

OwlCapone · 21/03/2015 06:57

I agree with others that Layton doesn't work. My choice from your list would be Archie or Frazer.

Christelle2207 · 21/03/2015 08:45

My son was Fraser (much prefer s spelling) until my mum got wind and declared that she thought it was chavvyConfused. Should have stuck to my guns, it's a great name (and my mum is unreasonae)

MaudeLebowski · 21/03/2015 13:43

Milo and Ellis are excellent.

Layton is dreadful, but even more so with your surname.

skinnylegs33 · 21/03/2015 14:16

Milo. I love it! I hope you have an easy as possible delivery, good luck!

verelab · 21/03/2015 15:12

Agree that Layton doesn't go well with your surname.

Like Ellis
Really like Fraser
Don't like Archie

Thinking about what might go with your other names...What about:

Blake?
Leo?
Leon?
Elijah?
Lorcan?

Grannycrabapple · 22/03/2015 20:39

Milo or Ellis

Quasilulu · 25/03/2015 01:47

Sounds like a village. Ellis C.... does a bit too. Sorry. Archie goes well x

Allalonenow · 25/03/2015 03:29

I don't think that Leighton goes well with your surname, but I like Milo.

UnderTheDeepBlueSea · 25/03/2015 09:18

Ellis is lovely

ishallnamehimsquishy · 25/03/2015 09:33

Fraser or Ellis.

Not so keen on Milo, Archie or Leighton.

OnceMoreAgainWithFeeling · 25/03/2015 09:36

Leighton is awful on it's own, combined with your surname it sounds like the next project after Milton Keynes was completed.

Frasier is great, and Ellis is cool. Don't like Milo much, Archie is awful.

OnceMoreAgainWithFeeling · 25/03/2015 09:38

Forgot to add, hopefully he makes an appearance soon, you must be going crazy!

hlc123 · 25/03/2015 10:04

he arrived on Sunday but is still nameless!

Congratulations! What about Elliot? X

rockinrobintweet · 25/03/2015 20:57

congratulations! I have a Scarlett and just love it as a sibset with Flynn.

My favourite from your list is Fraser, I am not keen on Leighton but personal choice.

We plan to have Jasper for Ds which matches well with Scarlett and Flynn.

or Joel was Scarlett's name of a boy. hope you're doing well OP. do let us know when you name him.

Grannycrabapple · 26/03/2015 22:03

Any update? Flowers

hlc123 · 27/03/2015 17:36

No he is still nameless. Thanks for all the comments, my best friend has an Elliot so can't use that. Husband wants Archie, daughter wants Milo and I am leaning more towards Ellis although I really like Arlo.
