Short sharp middle name for phoebe

Think we've got our final choices for dc4!

For our girl we've settled on phoebe- it'll have a long double barrelled surname so wanting a short and sweet middle name.

Dp likes may, Jane and Anne

I like Kate

Want to stay clear of Rose.

I don't like DP suggestions as that's what EVERY girl at school had as their Middle name bar those with Louise and Elizabeth.

Any ideas?

My Phoebe is Phoebe Rose but I played with...

Phoebe Grace
Phoebe Anne
Phoebe Cate
Phoebe Jane

Or something with two syllables:
Phoebe Iris
Phoebe Anna

Phoebe is an awesome name though!

Kate.

Phoebe is such a fluffy name, Kate cuts right through all that.

Don't go for Phoebe Grace unless you're happy to be viewed as a diehard Eddie Stobart fan.

Phoebe Alice?
Phoebe Emma?

kavv0809 · 13/03/2015 14:31

Like Phoebe Kate, I'm sure there was an actress called Phoebe Cates though so maybe that's why it sounds like it goes together.

florascotia · 13/03/2015 14:35

Could two short syllables possibly work, as well? If so here's a mix:
Maud(e), Elsa, Joan, Ada, Anna/Hannah, Alice/Alys, Stella, Dora, Dorrit, Lina, Helen/Ellen, Lyra, Laura, Lorna, Ailsa, Nella, Jean, Iris, Nina, Nesta, Martha, Sara/Sarah/Zara, Maris, Jennet, Ruth, Vida ...

Anne or May popped into my mind.
