We really like this name, but it's the name of our son's good friend who we see often, so we've ruled it out. What else has a similar feel?

I think Madison is similar to Imogen.

I like lots of I names:
Iolanthe
Isolde
Imelda
Iola
But for some reason Juliette is the one that most has the feel of Imogen.

Juliet is lovely - my Imogen was nearly Juliet. I also like Arabelle.

Just go with Imogen, your DS may not be friends with her for a long time and her parents should take it as a compliment Smile

For the record, I have an Imogen and I love the name. She is a monkey though!! When we left the hospital the nurse told us she also had an Imogen and the name caused cheekiness WinkShockConfused

Mine was almost an Amelia. If I have another girl she'll be Annabel, Olivia or Isobel

TheHappyCamper · 15/02/2015 08:14

We are definitely on the same page with girls names OP Smile

We have one dd Madeleine. If we'd had a 2nd she would have been Imogen.

Other names we like are:

Violet
Juliet
Isobel
Claudia
Genevieve
Romilly
Isla
Iona - gorgeous!
Matilda
Meredith

I seem to prefer names that don't end in 'ee' generally.
