Clara or Mabel?

Love both these names. which name do you prefer to go with siblings Charlie and Tilly?

Clara Margaret or Mabel Pearl.

Mabel goes better with Charlie and Tilly, Clara is too close to Charlie for me.

Thank you for the replys. I prefer Clara, OH prefers Mabel. Middle name was to honour OH granny. But I wouldn't of used Mabel Margaret! The meaning of Margaret is Pearl.

I prefer Clara or Clare. Mabel doesn't sound very feminine imo.

Definitely Mabel . It's underused and gorgeous - and I agree it goes nicely with your other children's names . Clara is nice enough but a bit 'safe ' IMO . Mabel is interesting .

Although I like Margaret, I think Clara Pearl is lovely.

I wouldn't worry too much about the names of the children "matching" as they get to secondary school age and beyond they will rarely be a "set".

Mabel hmm may be cute when she's a toddler but not sure when she's older might be a bit frumpy

Little girl on our road is called Mabel, I love it. But I don't like Pearl.

I prefer Clara Margaret. Don't think the double ending of 'L' of Mabel Pearl sounds so good either.

The more I have thought about it, Mabel Margaret sounds better then Pearl, I agree with the 'L' sound at the end. She could always go by the nn Mae or Belle :)
