How popular is Theo in Scotland?

Struggling with yellow bump names for #3 but my DMIL suggested Theo if we have another boy which has grown on me.
Only concern is that DD and DS have fairly uncommon names and I want to keep with that theme.
So how popular do you think Theo would be in Scotland? Away from the Arsenal bubble :P can't say I've met any baby, or otherwise Theo's myself.
Fits my requirements in all other ways as it's short and quite cool, again like our other kids' names.

I only know of one, he is almost three years old. I love the name!

DirtyWeeRascal · 13/01/2015 16:11

I don't know any!

espa · 13/01/2015 17:20

I know one, age 2.

florascotia · 13/01/2015 17:24

Theo was ranked 99 equal in Scotland in 2013.

I don't know any but I don't have much contact with littlies any more.

I think it's nice nothing to do with Theo James no no I'm not that shallow

Totesnamechanged · 13/01/2015 17:29

I've got one, he might definitely does also have the same middle name as the arsenal one. That wasn't intentional.

We picked it because we love the name, and there aren't many where we live about an hour or 2 away from Scotland. We only know one more Theo actually, born after mine.

I'm biased but I love it

PeppermintTeaForMe · 13/01/2015 18:20

I've only ever come across one child Theo (I have an adult friend Theo though), who was at nursery with DC1 and will be 6 or 7 now. I've 3 DCs, one at school, one at nursery, one baby, and go to quite a few groups etc. So it really doesn't seem very popular around here (SE Scotland).

Tattiesthroughthebree · 13/01/2015 19:18

I don't know any.

Japaninthesweep · 13/01/2015 20:17

Couple of Leos but no Theos.

Wouldn't worry about an Arsenal connection up here!

PrimalLass · 13/01/2015 20:21

1 child in our school (150 kids).

Gingergeek · 13/01/2015 23:28

Thanks for all the comments! Good to hear it's not too popular. Had seen it was about 46th for the whole of the UK but thought that it would be far more popular down south than up here but needed some confirmation. Really like the name :) our DS is called Sol so reckon we'll get a few comments about Arsenal if this bump is a boy :P
Still to find some girl names we like though...

I know one Theo, he's about twelve and has the cheekiest face and smile! I think it's a great name.

SquirrelledAway · 14/01/2015 07:56

I know three, but different ages and schools.

beatricequimby · 14/01/2015 21:28

I know one. Thea for a girl?

Zsazsabinks · 15/01/2015 11:16

A few Leos and one Theo...I'm in Scotland too.

NeedaDiscoNap · 15/01/2015 11:19

I teach in a massive secondary school in Scotland and we don't have a single Theo! Lovely name Smile.

Gingergeek · 16/01/2015 11:42

All good to hear, thanks :D
Think it's top of my tiny boys short list of Theo, Heath and Jude lol. Saying that though, all through my pregnancy with DS we had Jake as top for a boy, but when he was born we decided against it and he came home from hospital nameless.

Finding a girl's name is proving impossible though. DH had DD's name picked way before we even thought about having kids so choosing her name was easy haha!
Beatrice, not sure about Thea for a girl, don't know why as I love Theo. Hmmm
