Struggling for girls names!

I have a DD, Felicity and absolutely adore her name. We don't know the sex of DC2, have a boys name sorted (family name) but are really struggling if it's another girl. Names I love but can't/won't use are:

Sophie
Isobel
Harriet
Alice
Charlotte

Names I like but DH isn't keen on are:

Imogen
Eleanor
Annabel

The only 2 names DH has even mentioned are Holly and Chloe. I really don't like Chloe and am also trying to avoid another name ending in an 'e' sound as I think it will be a bit too cutesy with Felicity.

Any ideas?? Thoughts on names above or other suggestions? TIA Smile

Felicity is gorgeous.
The first names that popped into my head were; Judith, Beatrice, Georgina and Elizabeth.

I would want a strong, non cutsey name with Felicity.

Georgina is also on my 'love but can't use' list Sad. Thank you!

Sorry posted in a breakfast time rush. Also like Beatrice but DH not keen. Elizabeth is my DM's name so may use it as a middle name.

Personally I don't think that all names abdication in an "y" sind are cutesy. Some are, mostly the diminutive ones (Mollie, Milly, Hettie) but others not so much (Felicity, Holly, Zoe)

Anyway, other names I like are
Beatrix
Ada
Lara
Katherine
Elizabeth
Alexandra
Alexa
Cara
Bronwen
Maria

Abdication?? = Ending

Deerhound · 06/01/2015 09:40

Oh, and

Alethea
Thalia
Sylvia
Estelle
Stella

Thank you Deerhound. Adding Zoe to my short list Smile. Love Alexandra but it is DH's sister's name (also why I has discounted Alice, as she goes by Alex and I think they sound too similar!)

Ellen
Alicia/Alysia

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 06/01/2015 12:12

Thanks everyone, have added Anna and Elouise to my list. I think DH is going to be the biggest problem, he doesn't seem to like any names at all and it was pure luck that he liked the sound of Felicity!

We're having a boy, so you can have my girl's name - Hazel. I love it, I might have to have another just to get a chance to use it!

It seems you like 'girly' sounding names! Have you considered:

Melody
Heather
Annie
Gemma
Jenna
Jane
Maya
Mia
Kaya
Cara
Cora
Karina
Kate
Catherine
Hayley
Harmony
Louisa
Helena
Phoebe
Yvonne
Tara
Hannah
Jessica

Ella is also a popular one that I think goes well with felicity
