What could Box be short for?

I saw the name Box suggested on another thread and love it. However DH thinks we may need a longer name on the birth certificate. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Also, should we go for Boxx or just stick with the traditional spelling?

You may laugh but there is a boy in my sons year at school called " box " that's it, not short for anything. Parents let each child name the subsequent one, hence one child with normal name, rest have very " unusual " names

Muddiboots, if we'd followed that policy, DS2 would have been Poobum or similar. DS1 was going through a scatological toddler phase when his brother arrived.

If there are any Irish family links, Boxty is cute!

Boxty is brilliant. My other thought is Boximillian.

Really? Box? Like cardboard box..... And people think I like 'unusual' names!
