You have a great list, known names but not overdone.

I really like:

Colette Marianne

Lucinda Saffron

Michaela Colette

burgatroyd · 03/01/2015 16:28

I love Tamar! Prn Tay mar

Also Lucinda.

In fact the only names I don't like are Elisa, Ines, Abigail, Kathryn and Michaela

LaceyLee · 03/01/2015 16:34

Kathryn Marianne
Abigail Lucinda
Rosamund Elisa

Please don't choose Demeter though, it's awful! Others are all v nice

florascotia · 03/01/2015 16:35

I like many of your names but isn't Geneva a city rather than a personal name? I prefer Ginevra.

Lucinda, Demeter/Demetria, Rosamund and Marjorie probably my favourites.

Deerhound · 03/01/2015 17:50

My favourites are Ines and Rosamund.

Ines Natalya

Rosamund Colette

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/01/2015 18:00

Love Marianne.

Sophronia · 03/01/2015 18:15

Nice list! My favourites are:

Lucinda
Tamar
Ines
Demeter
Kathryn
Colette
Rosamund
Marjorie
Marianne
Saffron

HelloItsStillMeFell · 03/01/2015 18:18

I love Rosamund, Marianne, Ines and Abigail. What about Anais?

(it's pronounced Ann - I - Eese in case anyone was in any doubt. )

Megglevache · 03/01/2015 18:37

What about Lucille & Rosa or Romilly?

Guin1 · 04/01/2015 02:33

Favourites are:
Elisa
Ines
Abigail
Colette
Rosamund
Marianne

Demeter reminds me of the dementers in Harry Potter!
I like Marjorie, but would be worried about nn Marj.

midwinternights · 04/01/2015 09:31

Elisa - fine, sounds a bit dated because of Lisa
Lucinda - fine, bit flowery
Tamar / Ives - fine but likely to be mispronounced
A big ail - fine but only if you like Abbie
Geneva - no
Demeter - no
Kathryn - fine, lots of spellings though
Krista - fine but sounds dated
Colette - fine
Natalya - prefer Natalie
Rosamund - fine if you like Ros
Marjorie - no
Marianne - yes
Michaela - ruined by all of the horrible spellings - Mikayla etc
Saffron - Ab Fab

I vote for Marianne

nicelyneurotic · 04/01/2015 11:26

I love Saffron and ines from your list. Not crazy about the others but none are horrible.

professornangnang · 04/01/2015 11:29

I like Kathryn. Kathryn Rose would be nice. I'm not crazy about names like Saffron. Ines is nice if you have a Spanish connection.

poppyseedhead · 04/01/2015 11:44

Another vote for Ines Natalya :)

Bellisperennis · 04/01/2015 11:50

Thanks for all your opinions and suggestions so far.

Leaning towards Rosamund, Marianne, Tamar or Lucinda at the moment, happy these have had generally a good reception. Also love Marjorie but would really dislike Marj...

I like the suggestion of Demetria too, I think I prefer that to Demeter.

I also like Lucille but as an Arrested Development fan I don't think I could name after Lucille Bluthe, fantastic as she is!

Favourite by a very long shot from your list is Inez.

Inez Rosa. ( the 'mund' will get dropped, anyhow! )

HighwayDragon · 04/01/2015 12:53

are you prn lucinda Loo-sin-der or Loo-chin-der?

BlueStarsAtNight · 04/01/2015 12:54

I like Lucinda, Marianne, Abigail or Kathryn. Not keen on the rest.

I'd vote
Abigail Kathryn or
Marianne Lucinda

Deerhound · 04/01/2015 13:50

Maeby?

flowerbum · 05/01/2015 20:53

I heard a new name the other day that I have never heard before but think is pretty, adeline.

Bellisperennis · 12/01/2015 15:05

Highway would be pronouncing it loo-sin-da.

Thank you for all your lovely suggestions, they've been really helpful :)

Loved the Maeby suggestion Deerhound, I just have to avoid Ann at all costs!!

trottietrue · 12/01/2015 16:33

Out of those names I like Abigail, Kathryn and Saffron but I don't think any of those names combine well with each other either as first or middle names.

Gingergeek · 14/01/2015 10:39

Egg rather than Ann :P
Like Tamar, never heard that before actually. Would it get confused with Tamara though?
Lucinda is lovely too. Definitely with -ah sound on the end rather than -er though.
