I really like Astrid.

Not keen on Roman or Marguerite. Both for very trivial/irrational reasons though. Roman is Nicki Minaj, who I think is foul, and Margerite sounds like a pizza.

Can I ask why you like Morgan? Not that it's bad, just it's very different to the other names on your list..

I like that it doesn't sound flowery. Suppose it is very different. I like that is isn't made up of typical 'girly' sounds like ie or ia endings.

I know that is ridiculous considering some others on my list!

Morgan Octavia has a certain ring to it. I also love Isolde.. Maybe Isolde Cordelia or Isolde Claudia

Artemis is ace.

What about Antigone? I went to school with one. As well as an Athena.

Stellan is very cool. Think Ford would work best as the Middle name.

Prefer Allegra from your shortlist with Opal as the middle.

Vivienne is lovely but Viv is inevitable and I really don't like that.

I prefer Ford but DH is so attached to Spike. I'm lucky he isn't pushing it as a first name anymore!

Bugger. There is a car made by Vauxhall called the Opel Allegra.

Allegra is beautiful. What about Allegra Coral to avoid car references?

what did you go with?

My daughter is called Alba Rosemary ( Al - bah) My husband is Scottish, but that's not esp why we chose it. middle name family based. I'm glad you havn't gone with it though! -- she's two and havn't come across any others yet :-)

Some lovely choices tho. Do practise saying both names together in your best "telling off" voice - only way the middle name gets a good airing!
