Struggling for twin names

queeniepie · 26/12/2014 10:43

I am expecting twins ( don't know sexes ) and am really struggling for names. I already have 3dc called Sofia, Hayley and Jonathon.
Names I am thinking of are:
Jasmine
Cleo
Anna
Phoebe
Eva

James
Toby
Samuel
Peter

If I have a girl the middle name will be Sarah but as far as other Middle names I am so stuck!
Please help!

Biased answer here as my DD is called Eva so I love the name. I also quite like Phoebe too, not keen on any of the others.
From the boys names I like James and think Toby is alright.

Eva & Phoebe
James & Toby
Or
Toby and Eva

As a mother or twins I'd say definitely don't give them matchy names, Jasmine & James for example.

Love Anna & Peter

My twin sisters are called Annie and Billie - no middle names!

ByeByeButterfly · 26/12/2014 13:06

2 girls:
Cleo and Anna

2 boys:
Samuel and Peter

one of each:
Anna and Samuel

Sophronia · 26/12/2014 14:54

Eva and Peter
Anna and Samuel or Anna and James

Eva and Anna
Samuel and Peter, Peter and James or Samuel and James

Not keen on Phoebe or Toby.

I luff the name Eva! Cleo, too!

Eva Sarah and Cleo Jasmine.

James for a boy.

James and Toby!

I like Anna and Peter or Eva and Peter. Really classic and go with your other Dc's names while keeping distinct initials

elisio1 · 26/12/2014 17:53

Eva (lovely) and Cleo(fresh, funky) are my favourites for girls
Samuel, Peter and James are my favourites for boys.

IMO (but I know others disagree!) I find Anna rather dull and Toby a bit wet (plus there was quite an amusing thread here recently saying it meant "penis" in Scotland" !)

Don't like Jasmine at all I'm afraid

Good Luck!

Thank you all for your replies Smile
We are leaning towards:
Gg= Cleo Sarah and Eva ?!
Bb= Peter ? And James ?
BG = Eva Sarah (does this flow ok?) and Peter James

I like the following combinations

Peter James
Cleo Jasmine
Phoebe Eva
James Toby

MadameJosephine · 28/12/2014 19:00

From your original list I prefer

2 girls - jasmine and phoebe
2 boys - james and samuel
Boy/girl - jasmine sarah and samuel james

I do really like Sarah as a first name though, does it have to be middle name? Jasmine and Sarah or James and Sarah?

SilverBirdie · 28/12/2014 19:44

James and Toby are lovely. Toby Jack.... I like Jack as a middle name. James Blake?
Oh, just seen your update...... I think Eva Sarah works. It doesn't sound as smooth as some name combos but they don't have to. Congratulations by the way. I'm a twin (GG) they will always have a best friend in each other

Girl and boy: Eva Sarah and Peter James

2 girls: Eva Jasmine and Sarah Rose

2 boys: Peter James and Samuel Tobias
