DH and I are going around in circles on girls' names. I had thought of Poppy but discounted it as although lovely for a little girl, not sure I think it would suit a grown woman. But names like Holly, Daisy, Rosie etc are similar and mainstream enough so maybe....? It's in the same vein as Chloe & Lola both of which I adore but not sure I'd use (Chloe coz so popular and Lola coz of the bloody kinks!)

I've seen it mentioned on here as a nickname for Penelope which is also on our list but seems bit of a stretch to me, penny the obvious nickname I think.

So what are people's thoughts on Poppy? Sibling are Noah & Sophia.

I know a lot of lovely little Poppys, including a young relative - but I'm still not overly keen. Not sure why as it's a pretty name.

Plus my relative is usually referred to as Pops which I think is awful for a little girl.
