Today found out we are having a little girl and can not decide on name, so hard when naming girls.

We like these names what do people think also any other name people like?

Thanks :)

Struggling too. Weirdly Astrid and Imogen are my oh's only two suggestions so far - I didn't like Astrid at first but it's grown on me. I'm due next week so it would be good to have some options we can agree on tbh. I like Olivia and Isobel but way too popular at the moment so a bit boring. I also like Evelyn...

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 25/11/2014 15:43

How about Ingrid?

mummybare · 25/11/2014 15:45

Lovely choices, OP. I think Imogen just edges it for me, but they are both beautiful so you can't really go wrong. (Unless, of course, you accidentally spell it Assturd after reading this thread....)

Astrid is lovely, Imogen is ok but Assturd Farty is brilliant.

I second WhoKnows suggestion of Ingrid.

Ophelia?
Eleanor?
Daphne?
Orchid?

i like Imogen but think it's too popular and not keen on Astrid myself. i don't think it's "pretty" enough IMO!

I love both names, but I think Imogen is my favourite

DramaAlpaca · 25/11/2014 17:06

From what you've said upthread, OP, I think I prefer Imogen.

Assturd Farty Grin Grin

My old work colleague is called Astrid. She is Nigerian and pronounced it Arsetrid. Needless to say we were in fits of giggles when she had to introduce herself!

Lunastarfish · 25/11/2014 17:22

Astrid won't be shortened, it's a great name. My DP is obsessed with Imogen but it's a definite no for me.

Sophronia · 25/11/2014 17:45

I much prefer Astrid.
