I currently have a daughter Mollie Jean, we are expecting number 2 who will be called Eadie or Rosie. Any middle name suggestions would be much appreciated we like traditional names.

Edie Rose is OK. I don't really like the Eadie spelling.

Edie Charlotte

afreshstartplease · 19/11/2014 16:24

Agree Edie is much better spelling

Edie Rose is nice
Edie Amelia
Edie Beth

Rosie reminds me of rosie and Jim so not keen

Love edie so out of your two would go for eadie

afreshstartplease · 19/11/2014 17:31

Out of your middle names I like mila and faye

Aimielea · 19/11/2014 18:47

The only name my hubby has suggested is Rosie and it was Jimmy for a boy definitely can see a Rosie and Jim theme. My choice is Eadie but he thinks it's a strange name!

Out of those Rosie Alice flows the best, I think.

Lunastarfish · 19/11/2014 20:15

Rosie Jane
Rosie Louise

Eadie Elizabeth
Eadie Dominique

MissWimpyDimple · 19/11/2014 20:19

Why do you want to spell it Eadie? Is there a reason? Edie is surely how you spell it?

Aimielea · 19/11/2014 22:22

There's two ways to spell it hence the fact I have opted for Eadie

I like Rosie Alice and Edie Violet best. Really not a fan of the Eadie spelling.

Potcallingkettle · 19/11/2014 23:52

Rosie Elizabeth
Edie Belle

BikeRunSki · 19/11/2014 23:55

Edie Alice

Eastpoint · 19/11/2014 23:57

Edie was often the nickname for Edith, hence previous posters suggesting Edie as the spelling. Part of the grandmother's name revival like Daisy, Poppy, Grace, Florence, Elsie etc

pieceofpurplesky · 20/11/2014 00:01

Eadie Jayne
Eadie Joy
Needs to be a one syllable name

HappyTalking · 20/11/2014 00:06

I really like Rosie Alice.

Eadie Florence
Rosie Elisabeth

I've never heard of the name Eadie or Edie, but would be tempted to pronounce the latter as Ed-ie.

CPtart · 20/11/2014 06:59

It needs to be a longer middle name IMO
Catherine
Alexandra
Caroline
Elizabeth
Margaret
Jennifer

How funny, I have a Molly and an Edie!! Molly is Molly Rose but I really liked Edie Rose but DH wasn't keen on them having the same middle name. We went for Edie Scarlett in the end. Others on the short list were: Edie May, Edie Florence, Edie Violet and also Elsie May.

Aimielea · 20/11/2014 08:15

Love Edie Violet and Belle. Love Rose but it's my nieces middle name. X
