Honest opinions please!!

Feel free to be totally honest, I need outside perspectives on our top chosen names at the minute!

For a boy, at the minute we're leaning towards the name Harley with Isaac as a middle name.
For a girl we're leaning towards Amber with the middle name Faith.

We have plenty of time to dwell but need to know honest options before I get too attached to them!

Be careful of initials with Harley Isaac!

I don't like Harley either, I love Isaac though.

Amber Faith is very pretty.

As Faith is a noun and Amber is often used as a colour, Amber Faith sounds like some kind of lukewarm religious belief (neither red nor green like traffic lights).

I don't like Harley at all.

I like Amber though.

How about Harvey or Harry ?

I like Amber, faith and Isaac but not keen on Harley. It's a bit trendy.

Have to say not keen on any of them, sorry.

How about Heath for a boy?

Amber is ok, it just sounds a bit 80s to me. I'd put it in with Kelly and Jade - dated and a bit naff.

What other girl names do you like? Could make similar suggestions.

Isaac is nice. Amber is lovely. Harley is vile. Sorry. It sounds like a staffordshire bull terriers name.

I agree with other posters, Isaac is really nice, but I don't like Harley at all.
Amber is ok but a bit on the tacky side, and Faith is ok as a middle name but not really a fan.

I went to school with a boy called Harvey, he was really cool, and really suited the name.

I love Amber.

Harley is ok. If you love it, use it. Isaac is a lovely name.

Amber is a bit meh. So is faith. But they are ok.

Thank you for all your opinions! And you have left some beautiful names for us to ponder so thank you for those. DH is being pretty stubborn with Harley but we have plenty of time to decide and look through

Strongly dislike Harley and think of it as a girls name.

Not keen on Harley at all. Although I know it is also a boy's name, I knew a female one and would automatically think girl.

I heard of a baby Russell the other day which is quite unusual nowadays and seemed quite cool.

I quite like Amber but not a fan of Faith.

Isaac and Faith are great names. Harley and Amber are dreadful.

I like Isaac. Harley is an American redneck name. Amber is tacky and decidedly downmarket. Faith is not my style at all.
