We like the nicknames Tris, Meg and Tee for girls and Jay for a boy.
We don't like any of them as full names however.
For Tris we can simply think of Beatrice however OH hates that.
For Meg the obvious is Megan but again OH isnt a fan, he seems keen on Megara but for me that's just Disney.
Tee we like Teegan.
Jay we can think of Jacob and Jayden, I don't like Jayden and Jacob is very common. Any suggestions?

Patricia or Theresa would spring to mind for tris and tee though dated

Most of the Jays I know are Jasons. Meg is a nickname for Margaret. Will have a think about the others.

Luciferbox · 02/11/2014 14:53

I'm not sure about Tris or Meg but with Tee you can go with any name beginning with T. I really like Tierney or Tiernan.

bouncingbelle · 03/11/2014 04:06

Therese or Christina for tris or tee

Meg is a lovely name just as it is.

moxon · 03/11/2014 07:11

Tertia? Theresa?

barmybunting · 03/11/2014 10:43

For Tee, I think any name that start's with a T works- one of my friends is known as Tee and her name is Talitha.

Similarly for Jay, any name beginning with J?

ConcreteElephant · 03/11/2014 11:28

My DB has a friend called Jason, who is known as Jay. I think you could use any J name, as others have said. Or even just Jay as it's a name in its own right.

enderwoman · 03/11/2014 11:47

My son Jack goes by the nickname Jay (J)

Beehatch · 03/11/2014 11:50

I know a Julian who is Jay

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 03/11/2014 11:54

Jay or Tee could be shortened versions of literally any name beginning with J or T!

I also have a Jack who is known as J Smile.

Tris can only be Beatrice to me, at least I can't think of another name it could be short for.

Meg could be Meghan, Margaret or Merega.

hatsybatsy · 03/11/2014 14:08

Betrys is the Welsh form of Beatrice - Tris could also be short for that?
