For a girl. What do you think? I reckon it's very pretty but DH isn't too keen

Foolish. (See what I did there).
I'd rather plump for The Empress or Hanged Man, if you're going there anyway.

summerlovingliz · 24/10/2014 10:07

No don't like it sorry

OttiliaVonBCup · 24/10/2014 10:07

No.
And before you ask, Solitaire is a no too.

ZenNudist · 24/10/2014 10:08

No, awful. Sorry

BananaHammocks · 24/10/2014 10:12

Not for me. Caro?

squoosh · 24/10/2014 10:47

My crystal ball says 'non'.

SnakeyMcBadass · 24/10/2014 10:48

To rhyme with carrot? Or barrow?

FunkyBoldRibena · 24/10/2014 10:49

Trying far too hard!

Lunastarfish · 24/10/2014 11:24

No

Lunastarfish · 24/10/2014 11:24

Middle name only

Fairylea · 24/10/2014 11:27

Awful! Might as well call her rune.....

SanityClause · 24/10/2014 11:30

Hmmm! I quite like Rune.....

ffallada · 24/10/2014 11:35

RUNE!

A girl called Tarot would learn to how to fight early I think. Tarot the boxer was never picked on.

How about a name inspired by Tarot cards?
The app won't let me do a proper link but there are suggestions on
Bewitchingnames.blogspot.co.uk
Some are a bit daft but there some fairly pretty names suggested.

Riverland · 24/10/2014 11:51

Poker?

Casino!

Croupier.

So many words that aren't names!

moxon · 24/10/2014 13:13

rune
Knew a girl called Ruanina. Father was Rupert and mother Nina. Do people regularly do that? Mix parents' names to make a new name?

Nicename · 24/10/2014 13:19

Where did the idea come from. I think Ouija for a boy...

squoosh · 24/10/2014 13:22

Ouija would be nice for a Scottish boy.

Wee Ouija.

ShadowKat · 24/10/2014 13:28

Name a child after a set of cards you use to try and predict the future?

No.

Were you aware of the meaning?

callamia · 24/10/2014 13:30

I knew a cat called Tarot once. I don't think it really works as a human name.

ebolahat · 24/10/2014 13:57

Do people mean tarrow cards? It wouldn't be pronounced like that

We would pronounce it like Tara but with a t at the end.

squoosh · 24/10/2014 14:00

To rhyme with carrot?

Ummmm......

MerryMarigold · 24/10/2014 14:01

So pronounced Ta-Rot.

Nah. Names ending in Rot don't do it for me.

Tarot cards are spellt 'Tarot', pronounced tarrow.

ebolahat · 24/10/2014 14:04

No not rhyming with carrot, that would be daft! A "tar" sound at the beginning
