I like Lucia and Sofia, not keen on Alethea... Sounds like Alicia but with a lisp to me?

I don't think Eleanor flows well with names ending in an 'a' sound either, but is a lovely name.

Sorry, absolutely no help at all there Grin

hollie84 · 20/09/2014 23:09

How are you pronouncing Lucia?

Sofia/Sophia/Sophie are all very popular at the moment.

I'm not mad keen on Alethea but Thea Rose is lovely.

snowgirl1 · 20/09/2014 23:10

Agree, Lucia and Sofia are lovely names but Alethea definitely sounds lispy.

Salene · 20/09/2014 23:10

Don't like the other two names so it would be Sofia for me

hoobypickypicky · 20/09/2014 23:11

I like them all. particularly Lucia Eleanor.

I wanted to call DD1 Eleanor but my husband didn't like it. I chose another lovely name instead but wish I'd ignored his objections.

pissedglitter · 20/09/2014 23:12

Eleanor Rose

ErmagerdANerknerm · 20/09/2014 23:15

Eleanor Rose is very pretty, that'd probably be my choice (even though it isn't an option Grin followed by Lucia Rose.

Kantha · 20/09/2014 23:27

Lucia Rose flows beautifully. Is that an option OP?

HowsTheSerenity · 20/09/2014 23:45

I like Althea (no extra letter) myself.
No one will pronounce Lucia the correct way.
Eleanor is lovely but I still like Althea better.

hollie84 · 20/09/2014 23:58

Is there one correct pronunciation of Lucia then? I've heard it said differently depending on where the family are from.

Marcipex · 21/09/2014 00:03

I love Alethea, though I prefer it spelt Althea.
All your names are pretty though.

ByeByeButterfly · 21/09/2014 00:15

I love Sofia Rose, but that's not helpful.

I like all your names but I think first names and second names personally shouldn't end with the same sound so no Jessica Natasha or Alec Jack or something like that.

If I had to choose I'd probably go for Sofia Eleanor. Lovely meaning and pretty.

Sophronia · 21/09/2014 01:19

Lucia Eleanor.

minkah · 21/09/2014 01:25

Rose Sofia is good.

Lucia ..how to pronounce? Loo chee ah?

Alethea I am not liking, Thea, though, is lovely,

Eleanor Thea is lovely.

Thea Rose is lovely.

Gemerama82 · 21/09/2014 08:57

Not sure on those combinations. I suggest Thea Rose, Eleanor Rose, Lucy Alethea

pilates · 21/09/2014 09:02

Sofia Eleanor but prefer Sophia
