Thoughts on Regan??

As a potential sister for Bethany.

I have 2 months to go and husband and I still can't agree on a girls name.

I love Rosie, he hates it.

Regan just came up on a film and he likes. Unsure what I think!

Thoughts?

Would probably be Regan Lea (pronounced Lee)

Naff fir a boy. Worse for a girl.

HootOnTheBeach · 17/09/2014 22:31

I think Regan is a great name provided you live in a city.

I wouldn't think that Lea was pronounced 'Lee' I would think it was pronounced like 'Princess Leia'. If you want to avoid that maybe go with Regan Leigh?

Exorcist & King Lear. But it's your choice!

MrsBungle · 17/09/2014 22:34

I think (in order:)
Exorcist
Ronald
Sweeney

I also find it very harsh ds a first name

I have a friend called Regan. She is utterly lovely and also stunningly beautiful Envy so I have only positive associations with the name also I've never read King Lear or seen The Exorcist.

I know a regan and she's a gorgeous little thing and to be honest I always wonder why her parents gave her such an ugly name. sorry, I know that's harsh but there are so many nice girl's names, regan doesn't sound great to me and the king lear thing would put me off too

I know a little girl with the name Regan and I always thought it was quite nice. But then I am too scared to watch Exorcist

SnakeyMcBadass · 18/09/2014 08:45

Regan was on my list for dc2. It means Queen in Irish. I was put off slightly by my dad saying he'd call her Reg.

minipie

Thanks for your suggestions. I love Megan but it's my little girl's middle name!

I quite like Romy and Raven though Grin
