Lea/Leah
Alexandra (bit worried will be name of choice for William&Kate)

Zoe
Megan

Harriet

I like these names but am not convinced.
Have 3 months to go, stopped thinking of names just hoping that one will jump out at us.....but as yet, nothing. We are going nowhere fast!!

Help!!!!!!! Dd2 is due around the new year.
Dd1 is called Robin.
Dh is Italian and has to be able to pronounce the name. That rules out Harriet really as it becomes 'arrrrry-et'.
We don't want an exclusively Italian name, (live there)...

Am really stuck...Sad Don't seem to like anything Sad

I don't think they'll use Alexandra as Alexander is one of George's middle names.

I like Zoe and Megan and Leah is sweet as well.

fattycow · 16/09/2014 11:04

I like Leah!

Legionofboom · 16/09/2014 12:08

I agree with Pandora that Alexandra is an unlikely choice for the new royal baby. It's not my favourite from your list.

I love Zoe. Leah and Megan are nice too.

ElephantsNeverForgive · 16/09/2014 12:16

I like all of them except Alexandra, which is a bit try hard and will just become Alex.

looki · 16/09/2014 12:28

Isn't Alexander one of PG's muddle names? It is doubtful they will use a female version of the same name again anymore than they would call another boy Alexander again surely?

Zoe is my favourite from your list.

UriGeller · 16/09/2014 12:31

Leah is gorgeous. I quite like Zoe and Alex(andra) they are all really cool and strong girls names. Megan just about passes but Harriet is awful!

manicinsomniac · 16/09/2014 12:37

Alexandra is by far my favourite. I quite like all of them though.

Order of preference:
Alexandra
Zoe
Megan
Leah
Harriet

Pantstootight · 16/09/2014 13:17

Thanks alot for all your comments, they're really useful and have actually helped me realise that I prefer Leah, Megan and Zoe.
I think Alexandra is coming off the list...

Whilst researching names, I came across Bree.. I like it, but keep thinking of the cheese, and it sounds a bit too American.
What do you think?

I love Robin. My fantasy fourth child is called Robin (if boy)

Zoe was on our list for DD. Fabulous name.

Do you like Lois? I think that really rocks.

Pantstootight · 16/09/2014 14:54

oooh, I do actually like Lois, well done!
It was one of the names that was mentioned in the early days of pregnancy.
Leah
Lois
Lucy
Louise

Leah has remained constant...

It's not easy,is it?
I just want to fall in love with a name, like I did for Dd1's name.

I really like zoe. Pretty but strong Smile.

PrettyLittleMitty · 16/09/2014 15:17

I like Leah and Megan, they fit really nicely with Robin.

loveisagirlnameddaisy · 16/09/2014 15:19

I really like Zoe too. Pretty but strong describes it perfectly.

i also like Maggie.

Bellyrub1980 · 16/09/2014 19:36

Love Megan/Meg. Would pick it myself if it wasn't already in the family.

Sophronia · 16/09/2014 22:55

I like Alexandra and Harriet, the others not so much.

MsCoconut · 17/09/2014 12:49

I prefer Leah, Zoe and Megan to Alexandra and Harriet. Alexandra and Harriet are perfectly good names too. (Might end up something like Alessandra and Arietta in Italian though).

I know a few people who go by Bree but they have the full names Gabriella or Brianna. Aubrey is also gaining in popularity in the US although I don't know any IRL.

cowbiscuits · 17/09/2014 15:03

Harriet is such a pretty name. I was thinking about it the other day.

I know a lot of Harriets who are round about 30-37, I don't think it is used much for babies at the moment. You get nicknames Hatty and Harry which are nice too. I think it's quite strong and not too flowery girly. I think it would just as nice on a tomboy or a girly girl.

Pantstootight · 17/09/2014 18:39

Cowbiscuits, agree totally...I love the nn Harry for Harriet.

Would seriously consider this name and have had Dh practice saying it over and over again, but to no good, he just can't pronounce it well (strong Italian accent), and as we live in Italy it'll be the same problem for everyone!

Leah seems to be winning atm, really did like Leigh for a girl but it translates as 'here' , whereas Leah or Lia(Italian spelling) is a name that exsists and that people can pronounce.

mathanxiety · 18/09/2014 06:57

I really don't like Megan. There are a gazillion of them around here, all in their late teens. (Lovely people all, but they are everywhere).

I like Lia and Zoe.

How about
Pia
Vita/ Vida
Gaia
Viola
Ginevra
Marta
Elisa
Liliana
