A brother for Rufus

So, we have just found out our son Rufus will be getting a baby brother!

Our shortlist so far is....
Barnaby/Barnabas
Felix
Maximilian

The longer list:
Wilfred
Jasper
Gus
Sebastian

Husband has ruled out my favourite, which was Magnus. I also really like Samuel and Henry but I do tend towards less popular names.

Any opinions or any other suggestions gratefully received!

Jasper, lovely name and goes great with Rufus

Go for Chukka as it is a real first name as used by NuLabour MP.

Bruno is the first one that popped into my head.

My Rufus has a brother called Jasper!

Barnaby/Barnabas -- like a lot
Felix -- love, and has a lovely meaning
Maximilian -- like a lot, and it is also Latin-y..

The longer list:
Wilfred -- not keen. A bit wishy washy beside Rufus.
Jasper -- I know two dogs named Jasper, sadly - nice name but it has that association for me.
Gus -- too matchy to Rufus.
Sebastian -- can't stand the nn Seb. Also always comes across to me as tth for some reason.

My favourite from your list would be Felix.

I really like Hamish but dh not so keen. Clement is great too, but the nickname Clem always reminds me of Buffy! Dh has banned me from using Buffy names as he thinks I'm a geek :)

I have added Bruno to the list too. Lucky I have a few months left to narrow it down!
