Is this a boys name or a girls name?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My DD is Rowan but I'd never heard of Rowan Atkinson or for that matter the Archbish of Whatserbury when I chose it.
I named her after a little girl I'd met in Scotland as a child.

It's also a little flowering tree.

I know one boy called Rowan, and eight girls including mine. Three of those are Rowan Elizabeth.

We have picked Rowan for our baby-in-progress. We chose it for a girl, as that is what we have been told twice they reckon baby is, but it will work for a boy as well if there is a last minute surprise, which is good as I'm rather firm that this is a Rowan.

Excellent TzuByTwo

Good choice :)

Did you ask op?
I love it for a girl. I never knew it was so popular. Sounds too feminine to be a boys name to me

TsukuruTazaki · 12/09/2014 01:12

I think more likely boy but get neutral present

Sophronia · 12/09/2014 02:30

It's both. I prefer it for a girl though.

CherryPie3 · 12/09/2014 12:32

I only know boy Rowans... Very pretty for a girl as well though.

Go neutral with the gift, definitely :)

curiousgeorgie · 12/09/2014 12:51

I did ask, this Rowan is a girl! Rapunzel doll it is Wink

Thanks everyone!
