If I like Eleanor (Nell), Rose and Martha...

...what other girls' names might I like?? 35 weeks with DD1 (DC2) and struggling to find names with DH. I love Nell, DH loves Rose (which is a family name on my side, so sort of makes "sense") and Martha is a compromise for both of us. Surname is two syllables beginning with "A".

DS is William. Any suggestions for other names we might like? Ideally, we'd like it to be not too frilly and not as common as DS's name (which we love, but really is popular!)

Thanks for all the suggestions - lots of names on there that we've been discussing so obviously you've all got my taste Smile. My own name is even on one of the lists.

Mabel is another option we've been tossing around and I LOVE Susannah (Susie), Imogen, Harriet and Emmeline but DH has already said no to them... I really like Clara and Eliza so will try those on him tonight. This is so much harder than naming a boy! DS's sex was a surprise last time around and we didn't have a name for him if he was a girl, so thank goodness he came out male otherwise we might still be discussing it 20 months later....

hels71 - you have lovely names for your daughters! I'm a Hannah, so we very much are in agreement on names Smile
