Boys names - please help me narrow down my list!

First baby. Long surname.
I like a lot of top 10 names, but didn't really want a top 10 name as would like to reduce risk of baby having same name as multiple others in his class. Open to other suggestions too!

I am less keen personally on surname names like Austin, Logan, Fletcher, tho these are less popular than some.

I teach secondary and I know a lot of boys called Harrison, Elliot (and variants), Louis/Lewis, Dylan, if you are trying to avoid popular names. Mind you these are boys aged 11-16.

Harper is usually a girl's name (Harper Lee, Harper Beckham).

Byron, Edward and Leon were on our shortlist too so those are my favourites. And I like Dylan too but we couldn't use it.

Edward, Oscar, Finn, Harrison, Elliot - in my opinion these are the ones most likely to have a duplicate in the class (even if against a Finlay known as Finn, etc).

I really like Asher and Fletcher from your list, although they're normally not my style at all.
