We have a Nathan(11) and a Hugo(2). DS3 due December.
We have a 'short'list and I'm just after opinions or new suggestions. We like quirky, unusual names as you can probably tell!
Gus
Milo
beau
Felix
Bertie
Bobby
Teddy
Jasper
Sonny
Brodie
Buster.
Our surname is very normal

I like all of them except maybe Buster. Sounds more like a nick name or pets name. My favourites are Milo, Felix and Brodie.

TongueBiter · 26/08/2014 23:41

Arlo
Caspian
Fabian
Iago

Sophronia · 26/08/2014 23:48

Jasper or Felix go best with Nathan and Hugo, imo.

Loveallmyboys · 26/08/2014 23:49

I only added buster 30 seconds before I posted this. Not sure what I was thinking tbh?! Haga

Our faves are Brodie and jasper up to now. OH likes Gabe. I swiftly put a stop to that

100% behind Jasper. If I'd had a boy...

Allalonenow · 27/08/2014 00:01

Jasper and Felix are my favourites from your list.

Beau Sonny and Buster are my least favourite.

ralinax294 · 27/08/2014 01:14

Sonny is my favourite, also love Beau and Gus.

Mutteroo · 27/08/2014 01:17

Fabulous names!
Love them all apart from Felix which I cannot see other than being a cat's name. Also not sure about Buster. Seems like a great name, but I can't imagine a child of mine with this name? As this is your child that comment is irrelevant! Best of luck with the baby.

Can I also suggest:
Cassian
Monty
Arthur
Lucian
Asher
Raffety
Marius
Frankie
Malachi
Jude
Walter

babyblabber · 27/08/2014 08:06

I love teddy and jasper but DH vetoed them. great names!

but Beau is amazing, please use Beau! Nathan, Hugo and Beau.

Loveallmyboys · 27/08/2014 13:59

Ye buster was a ridiculous idea! And Felix has been on the list ages and I've since come to my senses! This was a copy/paste from my phone!
I love all the others. It's so hard to just choose one. Well, two if we have a middle name too...

I really like Felix and your son's generation won't know about the cartoon cat. Plus it means Happy!

Also love Teddy (we have one, so biased) but would use Edward on BC. Our Teddy doesn't know his name is Edward at the moment (2yo), but it does give him options in the future if he wants something more 'grown up'.

Bowlersarm · 27/08/2014 21:54

Teddy.

Nathan, Hugo and Teddy.

Loveallmyboys · 27/08/2014 23:15

I love teddy but... Our surname is smith! Teddy smith! I'm sure that's a brand of clothing?? Only occurred to me a couple days ago. Futted

OP posts:
Loveallmyboys · 27/08/2014 23:15

Gutted, even

OP posts:
rachel234 · 28/08/2014 07:53

With Smith I'd choose a less common first name. I'd also avoid names ending in an s sound eg Gus or Felix (cat food imo).

Really like Jasper, Brodie, Quentin or how about Milo?

Loveallmyboys · 29/08/2014 17:38

That's what I've always said. OH wanted Luca. I said people would forever asked if it was Lucas or Luca because of the double s

itsnothingoriginal · 29/08/2014 22:35

I don't like Sonny, Beau or Buster but the others are all great!

Bertie and Felix are probably my faves from your list Smile

ataosathecheeseshah · 30/08/2014 20:16

'Unusual' names...I'd recommend names of like heroes and legendary people and the like so:
Cyrus (Kurush if you want to go full Iranian)
Julian/Julius
Haroun
Alfred
Constantine
and so on.
