I like Meredith then Matilda. I don't like Annabelle at all, there are so many of them. Would you be put off Meredith by all the Amanda Knox stuff though?

Like Matilda but too overused. Loads at our school and the same with Annabelle. Would go for Meredith.

I dislike Meredith -- to my ear it has a harsh sound.

I like Matilda and Annabel equally, but don't like the spelling Annabelle.

All are pretty. I'm slightly bored by Matilda and Annabelle though as hear them a lot. Especially Annabelle - and there seem to be dozens of Belles where I live. I do really love simply Anna though, and would choose that if it was on your list!
I really like Meredith so would say that's my favourite as it's less common. It's strong but pretty and you could use Merry or Edie as nns when little which are both really cute.

Also agree that I prefer spelling Annabel to Annabelle. it seems less fussy.

Both Matilda and Annabel are quite popular, ATM, so I would go with Meredith, of the three.

I had a friend at school with this name.

Matilda is nice, but very popular.

Annabelle is nice, but I don't like 'Anna' or 'Belle' as abbreviations.

Meredith is lovely but is definitely a marmite name!

Love Meredith! After that I would say Annabel then Matilda.
