I am 36 weeks with DC2. We don't know the sex and are rubbish at finding names we agree on!
We have a DS already and have managed to compile a short list of boys names (girls names is another story!), please let me know what your first choice would be:

Arthur
Louis
Seth
Eli
Ted
Sid

Thanks!

I have a Louis Arthur, so that gets my vote :)

Eli (Elijah) is good too.

Seth in second place

Mumof3xox · 16/08/2014 19:17

Teddy!

Rivercam · 16/08/2014 19:20

Seth

Ted and Sid sound like nn to me. I would use the full name.

zummurzet · 16/08/2014 19:26

Arthur (fab name, can be Art or Artie for short)
Seth

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 16/08/2014 19:27

I like Eli and Ted as nicknames. Really don't like Sid or Seth. Arthur the best.

MadameJosephine · 16/08/2014 19:29

Eli is my favourite from that list but I would probably use Elijah as full name.

Closely followed by Seth

FixItUpChappie · 16/08/2014 19:29

I like Seth and Eli the best

FrazzleRock · 16/08/2014 19:29

I like all. How are you pronouncing Louis? I would say 'Loo-ee', but I do know of one person who pronounces it 'Lewis'...

Dolallytats · 16/08/2014 19:29

Seth
Eli
Arthur

clairewitchproject · 16/08/2014 19:32

I know a great little boy called Elias, (elle-EYE-as) Eli for short. I agree that Ted and Sid sound like nn. I like Seth, Louis and Arthur too....

dreamingofwineandcheese · 16/08/2014 20:15

Thanks all. Looks like my favourites are most popular, can't wait to tell DH Wink .

I agree that Ted and Sid sound like nicknames and the full name probably needs to be used I just don't really like the full versions.

Would be pronouncing Louis as Loo-ee but the cross over with Lewis bothers me. Thought about spelling it Louie so it's obvious but a pet hate of mine is people changing the spellings of names!

seth

birdofthenorth · 16/08/2014 22:32

I have an Arthur and would implore everyone else to stop choosing it so is they aren't everywhere Grin

I therefore vote for Seth, a brilliant name

TheHonourableLady · 16/08/2014 22:39

I like Eli but it has been ruined by becoming v northLondon trendy since various celebs incl Chris Evans used it.

Seth I hate. I am not sure why. I just hate the sound. Bit that's a personal thing.

Arthur and Louis are great and I quite like Sid but would not be brave enough to use it.

I think Teddy was one of the highest climbing joys names in last year's baby name statistics.

ZeroTolerance · 18/08/2014 16:52

From your list, Arthur without a doubt. DD would have been Arthur! I know it's getting popular but I don't think it matter. You're unlikely to meet many really. I don't think it'll ever make top 10.
