Baby Boy names - Short list

Hi all,

First time poster, my partner gave birth to a beautiful baby boy last week but we're still dithering over names, really tough !

I've come up with a bit of a short list of candidates and wondered what you thought!...

I like Sebastian best.

How do you pronounce Castiel?

Cas-Tee-Elle ...

I think I like Sebastian best too, but it'd be Sebastian Spencer and as a customer said to me earlier that might be a bit difficult to roll off?

Cad tee Elle sounds like a very feminine name to me. Castile, to rhyme wiTh dashiel sounds more masculine.

I think Sebastian Spencer sounds fine. Seb Spencer for a shortened version does too.

Ok welllll... my OH doesn't like the name Sebastian very much at all!

But we both like Ethan...and she loves the name Castiel.... so it could be Ethan Castiel (Castiel for a middle name)..

Ethan sounds good for a Baby, Child, Teenager and a Man, it sounds Strong and firm but cute as well we think!

Nice - and good to make the quirkier choice a middle name. They go well together and I like Ethan :)

I like the name Jake and Jayson from the list which you have provided.

I like Ethan Castiel. Agree that Castiel has a nice sound to it, but it's quite 'out there', and very associated with Supernatural, so definitely best as a middle name imo. Ethan's nice and goes well with Jenson.

I know a baby Castiel but prefer Ethan Castiel as a name (and I'm a Supernatural fan!)

If you wanted a Supernatural name to go with Jenson you could used Jared!
