.. what would be his name?

Not sure if it's a boy or a girl yet.. but I think we got the girls name covered. (Evelyn, Elvida or Marielle).

But boys names are so hard.

I'm from Norway, but I would like the name to work in English as well, since we're planning on moving across the pond in a couple of years :)

I'm looking for suggestions that work with Felix, not to normal, but not to weird either Wink

Names that are on our list at the moment are:

Emrik
Levi
Nathaniel
Rafael
Silas
Mikias
Tarius

Of your list, I'd go for Raphael or Nathaniel.

And I'd suggest Oskar/Oscar, Darius, Joshua?

I immediately thought Axel. Are you worked about names sounding the same when Said by Norwegians and Brits? We moved to Sweden from England and DS had a while where everyone Said his name "wrong". It doesn't sorry him anymore, and DD uses different pronunciation of her own name depending on the language she is using.

nameuschangeus · 25/07/2014 19:11

The name that sprang to mind when I read 'Felix' was Milo.

nameuschangeus · 25/07/2014 19:12

But from your short list is definitely go for Silas.

Emmelu · 25/07/2014 19:53

I want the name to sound somewhat the same, but if I love the name - it doesn't matter all that much.

Axel is lovely, but we have a close friend of ours thats called Axel.

I like Emmeth and Micah. :)

I love the name Milo in english, but it sound dull in norwegian. Also it's the name of a detergent here. =P

Dexter is really cool and I love it, and also it sound almost the same in english and norwegian, but people in Norway seem to only connect the name the TV-series and say that it would be cruel to name a son that. I'm not sure I agree... (?)

I like most of your suggestions.
Keep'em coming Grin

In 20 years time when your son is a grown man, will anyone remember that there was tv series of the same name around at the time he was born?

I think it goes well with Felix.
