DC3 is due in 4 weeks. Lucy or Rosa? Middle name will probably be Jean.

Rosa

I slightly prefer Rosa only because Lucy is a bit more popular. But both are lovely choices.

KoalaDownUnder · 28/07/2014 03:16

Rosa.

Lucy is overused and has become a bit 'plain' for me.

Khibs29 · 28/07/2014 16:17

We're having the exact same debate at the moment! Love them both! I'm now overdue and think we've decided to choose when she arrives, as we just can't choose!

Gingerjv · 28/07/2014 17:45

Rosa for sure!!

WiggleGinger · 31/07/2014 17:50

I know both and in various age group!

I would go for Lucy as often Rosa gets misunderstood & is called Rose / Rosie & has to correct people!

Sundaedelight · 31/07/2014 18:53

Rosa.Pretty to say and read. Find Lucy rather dull.

HelpMeGetOutOfHere · 31/07/2014 18:55

Lucy is far from dull and plain!
Lucy is a lovely name. I have a Lucy and a relative called Lucia (loo chee ya) both nice names.

Rosa is ok but think lots would assume rose.

MummyAngharad · 31/07/2014 19:21

I love Lucy but I think that Rosa is lovely because it is underused as a first name. Seeing a little Rosa could be very refreshing to all these Lily-Rose, Ava-Rose etc etc Rose variations. Rosa also seems elegant but can have sweet nicknames like Rose/Rosie when little, whereas Lucy I see as girly and cute and somewhat twee on a grown up in my opinion.

MsFanackerPants · 01/08/2014 23:31

I have a Rosa, I've always loved it. However people regularly think she is called Rosie, it's the local accent and it doesn't bother me especially

Gugglebum · 02/08/2014 06:53

I know it's a bit popular, but I adore Lucy! It may depend a bit for me on your surname though, how the names flow together.
