Ivy-Rose.

Sorry, already my second thread. I really want Clover but DH has said no, no way, forgeddaboutit, stop banging on about Clover- it's a butter/cows name/stupid.

Names we can't have due to v close friends/family: Roisin, Iris, Cecilia, Gwen, Ella/Ellie, Orla and names I don't like: Lucy, Emma, Bryony and names already vetoed: Penny ummm and that's it, I think.

Help me. Please, please, please. At this rate I'm running away with the baby and naming her Clover.

I'm sorry but I agree with your DH about Clover. Butter was the first thing I thought about too. Although I think Clover as a nickname is super cute!

How about:
Anya
Eden
Elsa
Lexie
Piper

IF you stick with plants/flowers, etc, I know the sweetest little Azalea, nn Zaley. Is your dh at all open to using Clover as a mn, at least, as you love it so much? Ivy-Rose is lovely, btw.

I agree with your DH wrt Clover.

Do you want another name with a hyphen?

Ivy-Rose and Chloe (suggested by PP) sounds lovely imo.

How about:
Molly
Cora
Lara
Esme (pr es-may)
Honor
Tess/a
Mia
Nancy
Josie
Sadie

Just go with primrose.

I don't know of anyone with a hyphen name that doesn't end up just using the first name.
