What do you think of

Victoria nn Vita or
Constance nn Connie for a girl?

And Henry or Leonard nn Lenny or Leo for a boy?

Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, so do your worst..!

I like Vita but not that keen on Victoria.

I like Constance. Connie is good too.

Henry is great but maybe too popular?

Lenny reminds me of Of Mice And Men.

WowserBowser · 16/07/2014 13:07

That looks like a riddle now i look at it ^

nyldn · 16/07/2014 13:17

Vita and Henry!

birdofthenorth · 16/07/2014 13:18

Thanks Wowser. I'm not made about Vita either, but DD has traditional long name and a day to day nickname, which has probably informed my thinking.

Need to dig out Of Mice and Men!

Connie and Henry

Leonard makes me think of The Big Bang Theory when Leonard get stoned and says "I hate my name, it has nerd in it" Grin

MsJupiter · 16/07/2014 14:46

Vita by a mile.

Lenny by most of a mile.

Sophronia · 16/07/2014 17:46

Constance nn Connie and Leonard nn Lenny or Leo. Henry is too popular IMO. I do like Vita as a nickname for Victoria though.

ThatBloodyWoman · 16/07/2014 17:47

Constance/Connie
Leonard/Leo

funnyoldonion · 16/07/2014 19:10

Not sure Vita works as a nn for Victoria and it's a lovely name in it's own right.

Henry is one of my all time faves but getting so popular x

Wishfulmakeupping · 16/07/2014 19:13

Henry is my favourite boys name if all time it is just perfection and if I have a dd2 in the future Victiria is on the shortlist although I favour Tori as a nn

ashesandfire · 16/07/2014 19:13

Connie & Henry

DrJuno · 16/07/2014 19:21

Constance and Henry both lovely, but don't like Connie.

Vita is too contrived as a nickname for Victoria. Just use Vita if you like it.

Tiptops · 16/07/2014 19:28

Constance / Connie
Leonard / Leo or Len

weatherall · 16/07/2014 19:31

Vita is nice on it's own. I don't think of it as a nn for Victoria. I don't think you can control nns. If you don't like vicky or tori do t use victoria.

Connie is fine on it's own.
Although I do think 'con artist'.

Lenny and Leo are also fine as bc names. I prefer Leo.

Montsti · 16/07/2014 19:32

Victoria & Henry

Bowlersarm · 16/07/2014 19:37

There's no reason you can't use Victoria but call her Vita. Prefer it to Vicky.

Prefer Henry to Leonard, athough i quite like Leo.

BrunoBrookesDinedAlone · 16/07/2014 19:38

Vita but I'd put Ryvita on the birth cert.

Prefer Henry to Lenny.

Boobz · 16/07/2014 19:39

Constance and Connie. Or how about Penelope and Penny?

Henry. Or Leon and Leo.

MsRinky · 16/07/2014 20:20

Arf at Ryvita! I did like Vita but not keen on Victoria.

Leonard nickname Lenny is my favourite boys name. I have tried to encourage my friends with sons to use it to no avail.

Artandco · 16/07/2014 20:24

Leonard. But Leni spelling rather than Lenny.

Constantine with Connie

olaflikeswarmhugs · 16/07/2014 20:25

Connie and Henry

DramaAlpaca · 16/07/2014 20:28

There is a tennis player called Victoria Azarenka whose nickname is Vika, which I prefer to Vita or Vicky.

I like Constance, nn Connie, and I like Henry. Not too keen on Lenny.

Cpt1sock · 16/07/2014 20:40

Connie & Lenny

mojojo29 · 17/07/2014 14:35

Connie a great name (I'm a little biased as its what my Nan's name) and its on our name list although I don't think we will use it as we have other names on our list that OH prefers. But its definitely classy and cool xx
