Louisa, Lucy / Laurence, Lester - or make the break and go for another initial letter!

KristinaM · 14/07/2014 12:46

Defo not an L name

It's very confusing for people like me with bad memories

PetaPipa · 14/07/2014 12:48

I think three Ls might sound cheesy tbh, I would avoid. And I have two with the same initial so not totally against the idea!

Legionofboom · 14/07/2014 12:51

I would avoid another L name, especially another 5 letter name.

I think two with the same initial is fine but three starts to look a bit forced matchy matchy.

MrsLettuce · 14/07/2014 12:52

I fear DC 3 may have phases of being upset to have been excluded from the L club if you go with another initial.

Are you after another nature name?

HaroldLloyd · 14/07/2014 12:52

Personally I would avoid an L name but either way it will be fine!

Madamecastafiore · 14/07/2014 12:53

The names starting with the same letter is something Pauline Fowler would do!

Bowlersarm · 14/07/2014 12:53

I'd go with a different initial.

ApplebyMennym · 14/07/2014 13:08

Aww the first two names are so cute together! I would definitely go for a different start letter for the next one though.

CharlesRyder · 14/07/2014 13:35

I think a G name would be good as it would run with the g in Logan.

Gabriella
Gabe

MsCoconut · 14/07/2014 14:29

No, It doesn't need to be a name starting with 'L'.

If an l was

Spottybra · 14/07/2014 14:33

You could consider Lewis for a boy?

Perhaps something with an 'l' in the name but not at the beginning such as Olivia? She could have liv as a nn.

MsCoconut · 14/07/2014 14:38

No, it doesn't need to be a name starting with 'L'. However, to keep it sounding similar it could have an 'L' somewhere on the name. I.e.

Callum
Alex/Alexander
Elijah
Will/William
Miles

Clara
Elsie
Evelyn
Willow
Flora

(Leo would be my choice I'd it is a boy and you wanted to keep matching with an 'L' or Liam short for William if you can't decide)

myotherusernameisbetter · 14/07/2014 16:08

I would maybe avoid the "L" but use the same "suite" of letters to blend in the name.

Maybe use the the G or N from Logan?

Gabrielle or Gabriel (also still has the L in like the PP said too)
Natasha or Noah

Gingerjv · 14/07/2014 16:18

Evangeline and Elijah - love these names;-)

DGLB · 14/07/2014 17:06

We never intended on having two L names in the first place we just loved the names, thinking of a name 3rd time round is proving far more tricky.....we just can't agree on anything!

Go with a different initial. Three of our DCs names start with the same sound which was accidental, wen we realised we already thought of dc3 as that name IYSWIM so we didn't change it. Dc4 starts with a different sound and hopefully won't feel left out coz there's no way I'm having another dc!

I have a friend that has five DCs all starting with the same initial and six letters in their names. It just sounds a bit try hard IMO.

Saralyn · 14/07/2014 18:32

Nobody has suggested Veronica or Wallace? realises she is only Veronica Mars fan on the thread

crazylady321 · 14/07/2014 22:04

Were Lilly and Logan purpously chosen with the same initial? If yes then I think it be nice to keep the tradition up.

For girls I think Lexie or Lacey go nice.

Boys what about Lucas, Leo, Layton, Lennon

weatherall · 14/07/2014 23:37

I think if you already have two L names it would look weird for the third to be different.

If you want an L Lloyd.

I would have Isaac, Reuben or maybe Sam.

Superrhan · 20/07/2014 12:30

Avoid another L. Two is coincidence, three is by design, if you have another 4 is just confusing. It reminds me of the Duggars on 19 kids and counting, who started with the letter J and 19 kids later are scared of naming one child not a J as it might be the last and only one without a J name! Break it before it becomes obsessive!

I like:

Elijah (boy or girl, I'm determined to make it okay for a girl before I ever have a DD!)
Corbin
Seth
Noah

Thea
Clara
Ella
Elsa

I think El- names will go well and almost sort of follow the trend!
