So the 'h' is an alternative spelling for the saint's name, presumably?

Am really, honestly not being critical. Had come across Estratia before, but not Estrathia.

However, in some languages 'th' = 't' (Thalia pronouced Tah-lee-ah, for example) so that makes sense.

Many thanks for the explanation. Always really nice for a name to have family associations.

I really like your Grandma's name Provencal.

If you read an announcement for a new baby with that name, it may well be me! Keep your eyes peeled over the next cou

Some good suggestions... And lovely to learn the etymology of Estrathia :)

I do think a sibling name for Theodora has to have at least 3 syllables, surely? Hope (for example) is lovely but it doesn't really go, IMHO?

Flora maybe we have alternative spelling?? Or just plain wrong. Like T'iannaaa or something. Or it's possibly written wrong in my baby book

I agree that a polysyllabic name is needed op. But bot one ending in A.

Which leads us back to Evangeline Grin
