DD3 is due in a few weeks and I feel very lost with girls names. We have narrowed it down (I think) to the following 3 but still open to any fabulous names I haven't thought of. We have a simple one syllable surname.

Our girls are Eve Frances and Josephine Rose.

Alice Magdalene
Louisa Maeve or Louisa Alice
Harriet Elizabeth

Feel Alice (DH's preference but he likes them all) is a bit popular at moment, worried Harriet might become a bit trendy but really not sure. Louisa is a favourite of mine but wondering if it is best with Eve & Josie. ??

Thanks for your help..

All go well ! My least favourite is Harriett as is sounds quite harsh but love the others!

Holfin · 27/06/2014 06:48

My favourite is Louisa Alice but they are all lovely Smile

Rhubarbgarden · 27/06/2014 07:21

Love Harriet.

DitzyDonkey · 27/06/2014 08:30

Harriet Alice

littlejohnnydory · 27/06/2014 12:02

Alice Louisa.

Nereida · 27/06/2014 12:39

I think Alice goes best with Eve and Josie, but Louisa is my favourite. I like Harriet as well.

MsCoconut · 27/06/2014 12:40

I like equally Louisa Alice or Alice Louisa.

(Sorry, not a big help in debating between the two!)

sonlypuppyfat · 27/06/2014 12:42

I know a Harriette I think it's lovely.

SomeSunnySunday · 27/06/2014 13:23

They are all lovely names, any of which I think would fit well with your other DDs' equally lovely names. Why not wait until she is here and see what you feel comfortable calling her? Or do any of them sound better with your surname, or present pronunciation difficulties for your DDs? (My 3 year old has a friend called "woo-wee-sa", 'L's are not his strong point!).

Alice beautiful and timeless like your other daughters names

BreeVDKamp · 27/06/2014 14:20

I'm a Harriet Alice so obv I'd say that ;) love Louisa though, unusual but well known. I reckon she's be the only one in her class or year.

I like all the first names, not that keen on Magdalene and think that Maeve goes better with Alice than Louisa.

How about Henrietta? Hetty or Etta for short.

florascotia · 27/06/2014 20:19

I like Magdalene and Harriet best.

Elizabeth nice. Ditto Louisa.

Alice OK, but relatively popular.

Not keen on Maeve.

This probably doesn't help much. But best wishes, anyway!
