What can Frankie be short for?

We're thinking boys names and I love Frankie as a nickname. I'm a fan of 'proper names' for the b/c and nicknames for everyday. I've scoured the names lists and have come out with the obvious names but nothings grabbing me, any other ideas?

Frank
Francis
Francois
Francisco
Francesco
Franklin
Frasco
Franco

Franco and Franklin are on my list but I'm unsure on them. They don't feel like real names to me if that makes sense!

Hoping for another girl, boys names are so hard!

I have a Franklin, it's a good name, has had lots of positive comments! I wasn't sure about its validity as a real name either, but after two US presidents with the first name Franklin it must be!

Franco is cool and I love Francesco, I felt a bit too English to go for either of them...

Exactly, I think I'm too English to pull them off!

Dp is scouse too with a scouse son with a very scouse accent! I just can't see any of them sounding good with a scouse accent.
Oww but I so want a little Frankie!!

The only other one I can think of is Francesc "fran-sesk" like Cesc Fabregas the football player.

Otherwise I think Frank, Francis or Franklin are the best options.

Do it, it's an ace name!

My Grand Uncle was Franklin Ewart W. I think he was named after President Franklin Roosevelt. Cool forename, classy too.
