We are from Ireland so there are a few irish names here (more for DHs benefit, I'm not keen)
What are your opinions?

Liam
Luke
Oliver
Riley
Thomas (Tommy)
Lennon
Louis / Lou
Robert
Jarvis
Donnacha
Cormaic
Harrison
Farrell

My picks from your list would be:

Louis
Harrison
Cormaic (is this like Cormac? would probaly spell it Cormac and then it would be my favourite :) )

Thomas is fine if a bit boring but like Tommy

Lennon is a bit of a "scheme-y" type name where I am. Especially used by Celtic supporters.

RiverTam · 09/06/2014 11:33

I like Riley and Jarvis from your list.

only choose Lennon if one or other of you is a massive Beatles fan!

Farrell - bit too closely associated with Colin Farrell for me, who, whilst he is quite a hottie, is also a bit of a bastard, is he not?

Guin1 · 09/06/2014 13:54

My favourites are Jarvis, Cormaic/Cormac and Robert. Harrison is good too.
Most of the others are too popular for me, although this may not be an issue for you. Donnacha sounds more like a girl's name to my un-Irish ears.

Robert is a very underused classic. I can't remember last time I met a Robert under 30.

If someone told me they had named their baby Robert it would elicit a huge smile from me. I like "Robert Francis."

Alita7 · 09/06/2014 20:35

I like Oliver, Thomas and Louis from your list.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 09/06/2014 20:38

Don't mind:
Louis
Liam

Like:
Robert
Thomas

Love:
Luke
Oliver

Really don't like the others, sorry.

CPtart · 09/06/2014 20:47

Love Luke, and I have one. Oliver is ok, as is Robert.
DS 1 has 2 Roberts in his school year.
Not keen on the others.

Provencalroseparadox · 09/06/2014 20:52

Louis/Lou is the only one I like. Actually love Lou

RabbitSaysWoof · 09/06/2014 21:13

Love Lennon.
Farrell is nice.

Fissawissa · 09/06/2014 21:25

Thanks everyone!
Luke & Oliver are our (deceased) grandparents. Sounds nice with our surname too.
