Do you know an Ezekiel?

If so, where do you live? Country or county?

Is it becoming popular?

Thank you!

I don't know any but did suggest it to dp who vetoed as too weird - Ezra vetoed for same reason. I think both will get more popular but not sure if will make top 100. Agree though OT names for boys definitely in.

My nephew is Zeke. His dad is Turkish and he his named after his grandad who is Ezekiel. My friends nephew is Ezekiel but is Zeek for short :-)

Thank you for your advice! I'm thinking not too popular YET! I can't see it making the top 100 either to be honest but you never know!
I think if we use nn E-Z rather than Zeke will be even less popular!
Cheers

Cheshire.
He's early 20's.
Zekki for short.
Don't think it's becoming popular.

Its become quite a 'hipster' name, I think, especially in the US. Great name, though.

I know two - one adult, one little boy, both known as nn Zeke

Pebbles0934 · 10/06/2014 12:35

Hipster name= not good!

What isn't becoming a hipster name these days though?! Even Maud can be classed as hipster!!!

There is an Ezekiel in the book tiny sunbirds far away, set in nigeria. I have never met one and wouldn't pick this name personally but it has some appeal and is a solid name for those who like the more outlandish bible names.

I don't know any, and I always know loads of children with names on the "surely THIS name will never come back?" threads.
