Is this name ok for DS3 or any other suggestions?

We already have a William and Alexander and are expecting DS3.
We really struggled to decide on Alexander's name so are totally stumped now.
My favourite option is Harry but what do you think about having a William and a Harry? We are not royalists at all btw.
Other options are:
Benedict
Thomas

Or any others??

We are not royalists either but we already have an Arthur and a Henry.
DS3 is due in 8 weeks and we think will be Edward, known as Ted.

I think all your names are nice. Is William always William or is he Will / Billy?

RainbowInACloud · 04/06/2014 21:00

He started off as billy bit just suited william more. Although now he's in school he's getting will a lot more.
Love your names too.
I'd not thought of Arthur before.

Once we'd accidentally started along the 'kings' theme (DC1 and 2 were twins, we thought Henry was a girl - he was going to be Daisy and Henry was a snap decision!) we got a bit stuck when it came to DS3!

I love James but DH has veto'd. He likes George but I have veto'd (4 Georges already at preschool).

William is at number 2 on our list at the moment - Edward is a family name so will almost certainly be using it....

James was the first name that sprung to mind, also DS's name!

Otherwise, Arthur, Benjamin, Robert, Stephen, John, Andrew, Charles, Phillip (sorry going royal fam here!).

bouncingbelle · 05/06/2014 21:47

I like Harry and don't think it matters you already have a William. Or what about

Struan
Michael
Ronald
Adam
Charlie

TravellingToad · 05/06/2014 21:51

I think Harry would be fine.

What about Henry? I know that it's prince harrys real name but it's not as obviously associated with him

William, Alexander and Henry
William, Alexander and James
William, Alexander and Christopher

ViviPru · 05/06/2014 21:52

I think Henry works well with those sibling names too.

Bowlersarm · 05/06/2014 21:54

Henry? I know it's Harry's real name but most people don't.

Or:

Samuel; James; Toby; Edward; Freddie; Charlie

Bowlersarm · 05/06/2014 21:55

X post Toad

mollymawk · 05/06/2014 21:55

As you have some kings already how about Richard? Or Robert? (I loved Robert but couldn't bear to use for either of my DSs due to knowing someone AWFUL with that name. You might not have that problem!).

soontobeslendergirl · 06/06/2014 11:43

All the names are fine and don't think it matters about the William and Harry thing as you have another in between.

I also think David would go well though.

or something traditional but not as Royal such as:

Marcus
Miles
Piers/Peter
Stuart
Gregory
Matthew

I think Benedict is a gorgeous name. Really like it.

A friend of mine has Edgar, Arthur and Alfred which I think are lovely too.

NorksEnormous · 06/06/2014 12:03

Thomas is my favourite from your list

RainbowInACloud · 06/06/2014 12:32

Thanks.
I like Henry and do think it goes well but my close friend has a Henry and DH not as keen.
James is a lovely name and one in my list but I had an ex boyfriend called James so not sure if it's a bit weird to use it.

Oliver

Frederick (Freddie)
George

I like Oliver, Benjamin, Frederick & Sebastian best!

Gabriel (Gabe)

PineappleLump · 13/06/2014 10:44

Lawrence? Hugo? Max?

Umbrellasandladders · 13/06/2014 15:58

Benedict gets my vote

Chillycamper · 16/06/2014 19:57

Reuben? Nice meaning for your new blue bundle "behold a son"

looki · 16/06/2014 20:03

All nice names but just regarding one of the above posts saying most people don't know Henry is Prince Harry's real name. I would say the complete opposite is true and most people are aware of his real name.

NotTheKitchenAgainPlease · 16/06/2014 20:05

Benedict is nice.

DogCalledRudis · 18/06/2014 09:18

Why not George?
