I remember reading a while back about a Buddhist and Hindu tradition about naming your child according to the birth star they are born under. Words and names carry a vibration that can have a positive/negative affect on the person. Think it's called Nakshatra. It doesn't suggest names per say but certain letters that the name should contain like 'Lu', 'A', 'Ke' etc.
