Id never considered this name before but DH mentioned it last night and im thinking on it.

He has suggested barely any names, and this is by far the nicest on his list (of Chloe, Jess, Luna). However he refuses to make proper suggestions til the anomoly scan next week and hopefully finding out the sex.

The Harry Potter connection I quite like, as DDs first and middle names are both from books I loved as a child so itd be nice to have a HP name in there somewhere.

Is it too popular? It also is quite different to names on my shirtlist (Olive, Norah). Surname Cavendish.

I'm not keen on Luna. I don't like the sound or the association with the moon and lunatics.... Where the name lunatic came from.
It also is Frank Lampard's daughters name as said so has a bit of a wag Coco type name feel to me.
However, people do not like my name choices always so it's entirely up to you?!

How about Lyra?!

I like it, if we were having a girl it would be on our short list. The Loony or Lunatic NN wouldn't bother me either, kids will find a way to make fun of any name. I've got a nice normal name but they still found a way to make it rhyme with something very rude.

It has a very celeb-y feel to it. I wouldn't be surprised if Jordan aka Katie Price chose it.
How about the timeless and classy Lara?

Rhubarbgarden · 06/06/2014 06:10

Not keen. Love Nora and Ivy.

Rtfairy · 10/06/2014 22:19

Luna is lovely, as is Ivy. Also like Chloe and Jessica but they are a little boring in comparison. Don't like Nora though.

DitzyDonkey · 10/06/2014 22:29

I like it, very pretty!

Makes me think of Bear in the Big Blue House And Harry Potter. I like it though.
