Hi everyone ! Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions to add to my list . Really struggling with boys names for ds due in august!

So far I have

Ronan (love it but dh doesn't like it :()
Rory
Cillian
Aidan

I do love Irish names but nothing with too complicated a spelling as I am Irish and can't even pronounce some of them Wink

Oddly the only Aidan I know is a 60yo man but really like it for a little boy :)

Cillian is a great name.

I know two Y2 Aidans. Also like Brendan and Ciaran.

31st August is St Aidan's day ...

Nocturne123 · 19/05/2014 12:29

Oh that might fit that's around his due date :) I like Brendan too but hate Brendy!

Thanks for the replies so far

Aidan was a hugely popular name around these parts when DS was born 18 years ago. It seemed everywhere we went we met an Aidan. Quite like Rory & Cillian is a great name. Only problem is people will not know how to pronounce it.

BlueChampagne · 19/05/2014 15:17

The only Brendan I've met was abbreviated to Bren.

Nocturne123 · 19/05/2014 16:25

Yeh mutteroo , across the water Cillian may be pronounced sillian !

Oh bren is a lovely nn . Thanks for all the suggestions everyone ! Naming dd was definitely not this difficult!
