Helena Kate or Eden

Classic or a bit more adventurous? I adore all 3 names. I also like Edie as a nn. Whichever we don't use as a first name we will either use as middle name(s) or perhaps keep it incase of another dd! Due date June 10th and these are our final three

I have always adored Kate ever since I was really young. I fell in love with Eden after Marcia Cross named one of her twins Eden in 2008. As soon as I read it in a magazine I was smitten! Helena I think is just gorgeous. Very elegant. And many cute nn possibilities.

Eden - it is beautiful and simple (disclaimer - biased because I named my DD Eden - I loved it ever since I first heard it as a teenager, so when we had a DD there was no other name in the running).

I dislike Helena, but only because it is strongly associated for me with a girl at school who was v irritating and vacuous.

Kate is all right, it has the advantage of being timeless - doesn't ever seem dated - and again, is simple to say and spell. But it is my name, and I really hated it as a child. No reason, I just did. I always wanted to change it.

I like all three, but think Eden is the type of name that will rise in popularity because it seems 'unusual' but isn't really and is quite cutsie. ifswim.
I love, love and always have, the name Kate. I'd choose that name for myself if I wasn't X. Not Katherine, just Kate.
Helena is beautiful and so, so underused.

on balance, I'd pick Kate!
